| More resigns as chancellor, seeking to live out his life as a private citizen, but Henry VIII will settle for nothing less than More's public approval of his headstrong course. Sir Thomas refuses to either endorse or denounce the King's action, and remains a man of principle. http://www.rgbxj.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=63401 - http://www.rgbxj.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=63401 Great effort is made to convince More to change his stance on Henry VIII's action. One of More's rivals, Thomas Cromwell (Leo McKern); another religious, Cardinal Wolsey (Orson Welles); and The Duke of Norfolk (Nigel Davenport) all take their turns at More.
Coppola reportedly left hundreds of messages before Murray finally called back to discuss her offer to cast him as the star. Coppola apparently knows something about selecting actors who win awards. http://quanguoxiaoyuanwang.com/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=31603 - http://quanguoxiaoyuanwang.com/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=31603 All of the landscapes were rich as can be in appearance and the animals looked as if they were fluid acros the screen as they moved. I wa贸 impressed also on how well Planet Earth was filmed with a HDTV$camera.

Richard Burton was offered the part and turned it down.

What makes A Man for All Seasons even more impressive is that the plot for the movie is based on the true story of Sir Thomas More. Sir Thomas More was a scholar and statesman who became the leading humanist of the Renaissance Era. http://www.9fox.cn/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=207819&fromuid=17027 - http://www.9fox.cn/bbs/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=207819&fromuid=17027 Unfortunately for the "Kingdom of Heaven", what started out as an ambitious epic film about a little known time in history, became an almost disaster at its release and was only average at best. There is enough blame to spread around.
She did win a second Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy; her first was the same nomination for her role as Lucy in "While You Were Sleeping". http://www.yunduanxh.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=2779 - http://www.yunduanxh.com/home.php?mod=space&uid=2779 Fifth, writer William Monahan's first draft of the script was 186 pages. Executive producer Lisa Ellzey thought Fox would never approve the script because of its length, so she cut it to only 20 pages before submitting it.
Sofia Coppola's creation also won Golden Globe awards for Best Picture, Best Screenplay and Best Actor (Bill Murray), and earned nominations for Best Director and Best Actress (Scarlett Johansson). http://www.gotkd.net/plus/view.php?aid=116901 - http://www.gotkd.net/plus/view.php?aid=116901 Seeing this film, I would not have guessed it would have won so many awards.
In addition, there were apparently 15,000 handmade costumes for the film that also required helmets, boots, gloves, chainmail, belts and scabbards. The flag budget for the film was $250,000. There were 7,500 weapons, 3,000 shields and 20,000 arrows used in the film. In one scene alone, there were 143 extras, 60 military personnel, 125 horses and 60 camels. http://iipalibrary.in/mediawiki/index.php?title=User:Edsfin87#.E5.BF.83.E3.81.8B.E3.82.89.E5.AE.89.E5.A0.B5.E3.80.8A.E3.81.82.E3.82.93.E3.81.A9.E3.80.8B.E3.81.97.E3.81.BE.E 3.81.97.E3.81.9F - http://iipalibrary.in/mediawiki/index.php?title=User:Edsfin87#.E5.BF.83.E3.81.8B.E3.82.89.E5.AE.89.E5.A0.B5.E3.80.8A.E3.81.82.E3.82.93.E3.81.A9.E3.80.8B.E3.81.97.E3.81.BE.E 3.81.97.E3.81.9F The independent film earned Sofia Coppola an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay and also had 2003 Oscar nominations for Best Picture (won by "The Lord of the Rings, the Return of the King", bad timing for Sofia), Best Director (won by Peter Jackson for Lord of the Rings) and Bill Murray as Best Actor (won by Sean Penn in "Mystic River").
Sofia Coppola wrote the lead role specifically for Bill Murray, and later said that if Murray turned it down, she would have scrapped the project. http://www.taoms.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=8482&fromuid=3387 - http://www.taoms.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=8482&fromuid=3387 In the opening of it, it shows Angel ..."the highestl water downfall in 4he world. Then it starts to break off from there and shows the extraordinary animals that live in the freshwater surroundings.
In his quest to be noble, Liam Neeson was able to deliver this dialog as Godfrey de Ibelin: "Be without fear in the face of our enemies. Be brave and upright that God may love thee. Speak the truth always, even if it leads to your death. Safeguard the helpless and do no wrong. That is your oath." (Spoken to his son, Balian, when making him a knight.) http://autoshop8.com/plus/view.php?aid=35494 - http://autoshop8.com/plus/view.php?aid=35494 The riff subsequently leads to England's split from the Roman Catholic Church and the creation of the Anglican Church, the Church of England.
